Tours of EcoTerra allow people of all ages to learn about a wide range of fascinating topics, from solar power and passive solar to environmentally friendly building materials organic gardening and permaculture. We have a variety of tour options – both guided and self-guided – for you to choose from. EcoTerra is open seven days a week between 10:00am and 6:00pm (The site is closed on December 25th & January 1st). Self-Guided Tours

Choose from three distinct tours – our Eco Tour, Kids Tour, and Cannabis Tour – as you visit various points of interest at EcoTerra. Upon arrival pick up a self-guided tour brochure at the Information Kiosk near the parking lot or from the incoming donation box before you enter the parking lot. Tours range from 15-45 minutes depending on the amount of time you have for your visit.

School Groups

Field trips are offered throughout the year for grades K-12 and college and are best scheduled Monday through Friday in the morning. Most programs last for 2 hours with the chance to enjoy your packed lunch on our beautiful grounds after your visit. Fees vary between $5 and $25 per student dependent upon the program.

Guided Tours for Individuals & Families

Guided tours are offered from May through October dependent on staff availability. Groups meet at the Information Kiosk near the parking lot. These fun and informative tours last approximately 50 minutes. We ask for a suggested donation of $5 per person or $10 for a family.

Guided Tours for Professional or Affinity Groups

Specialty tours, led by senior staff or technical instructors, are available for professional associations, special interest groups and college level classes. These tours, which last approximately 1.5 hours, provide a stimulating technical exploration of renewable energy and sustainable living in a format that can be custom-tailored. Professional tours are available by appointment only, and require an advance notice of 2 weeks. Cost is $10 per person with a $125 minimum.
