Nov 22 2009, 9:00AM - 5:00PM

Water is a fundamental component of life, yet many people do not understand the systems that bring it into and out of our lives.  In this one day workshop, students will learn about basic plumbing systems that are frequently encountered and how they can install and maintain them.  Specifically, students will learn:  how to cut and soder copper pipe; work with ABS, cast iron, and threaded pipe; and work in a safe environment.  Students will walk away with an understanding of water and basic plumbing.

Students will work with safe learning systems that will emphasize the understanding of water and common plumbing projects found in everyday life.
