Home Workshops

The Solar Living Institute is an approved provider for the NABCEP entry level exam.
Students who have completed a PV 200 Design & Installation Intensive workshop from the Solar Living Institute, after April 16, 2009, are eligible to register and sit for the test.
By passing the NABCEP Entry Level Exam you will obtain a Certificate of Knowledge from NABCEP, which indicates proficiency in basic terminology and concepts of PV systems. Read more at the NABCEP website.
Important Info for test-taking:
- Must show valid ID
- Pagers or cellphones will be collected and placed outside the testing area, to be picked up when you leave.
- No hats, visors or watches are to be worn during the exam.
- No books, pamplets or notepaper in your possession.
- No food or drink. Bottled water is permitted.
- Bring a calculator.
- Arrive at 2:30, the test begins promptly at 3:00. Late arrivals will not be admitted.
- You will have 2 hours to complete the test.
Your answer sheet will be collected by the administrator and sent directly to Professional Testing for grading. Your test results will be provided by NABCEP in 2-3 weeks. (Good luck!)
