Dgiin

Spelled "Gin," as most of us know it, it's a strong clear alcohol flavored with juniper berries. Spell it "Djinn" and it's a mischievous spirit, often confined to a bottle due to naughty behavior. Spell it "Dgiin" and you have a band with a unique style that brings together various cultures and influences with songs sung mainly in French and an intoxicating beat. The band started 8 years ago in the North Bay. It can be described as French-Gypsy-Funk with a twist or Flamenco-Django-esque, either way they put on a memorable show enjoyable by all who have a love of music and a little spirit.

The Dirt Floor Band

Five dudes playing original gypsy-glam-grass; their own special blend of mutt music. Bluegrass. Electric funk jamming... Self-deprecating folk-country... Tight minor key gypsy instrumentals and loosely played rock... From the transcendental to the downright irreverent they do it all with guitars, banjos, mandolins, harmonicas, bass, drums and three singer/songwriters. A slightly insane night of music, dancing, and a damn good time.

Kevin Watson

Born and raisd in Oklahoma City, Kevin Watson is a songwriter whose diverse, open-minded nature shines through his songs in more ways than one. Like a kid in a genre candy store, his songs feature all kinds of flavors from folk and bluegrass to reggae and funk. Likewise, his conscious lyrics explore many different aspects of the human condition ranging from breaking through social conventions and expectations to the celebration of the lives of loved ones who have died. Regardless of style or content, though, it’s his positive vibes and soulful delivery on stage that are quickly building his fan base wherever he plays.
