Additionally, he talks about strategies for positioning yourself to grow with your industry of choice.
The Clean Tech Job Hunt: Spotlight on Solar
The session will focus on proven strategies for getting a job in the clean tech sector, using the solar industry as a case study. Participants will come away with strategies for launching a job search in clean tech, networking, identifying emerging opportunities (including companies currently or soon-to-be hiring), and standing out above the crowd.
About Frank Marquardt
Frank Marquardt has been writing about careers for more than ten years.
He has contributed to hundreds of career guides on dozens of industries,
including The Solar Job Guide (www.solarjobguide.com) and WetFeet's Green
Careers. Previously, as executive editor at SustainLane, Frank developed
hundreds of how-to articles about living green; co-created and co-produced
the animated series The Unsustainables, which aired on Comcast On Demand;
and contributed to the 2006 SustainLane U.S. City Sustainability Study,
which was published by New Society as the book How Green Is Your City?
Frank has written for Sustainable Industries Journal, GreenBiz.com, and
TriplePundit, along with dozens of other media outlets. Frank also serves
as director of content strategy at Native Instinct, an interactive agency.
