Non-profit Volunteerism & Grant Writing as a Mid-life Career Change Path Option Into a Green/Clean Career
Finding your dream career job is all about being at the right place; at the
right time; in front of the right people. The old adage of, “It’s not what
you know, but who you know” is probably a little extreme, but still valid
wisdom. Yes you do need to take every possible class and really study the
industry you’re targeting, but you also need a seat at the table; entry in
the conversation. How do you get in front of the right people and build a
reputation in the target industry?
This breakout session will explore working with green/clean non-profits and grant
writing as a possible path to your ticket “at the table” and hence entry
into a career.
