Self-Guided Tours
Self-guided tours of the Solar Living Center are always available during business hours. Stop by the Information Kiosk near the parking lot to pick up a free self-guided tour brochure which shows 44 points of interest on the 12 acre site.

Tours for Individuals and Families
General guided tours for individuals and families are offered Friday through Sunday at 11:00 AM and 3:00 PM. Led by our caretakers, these fun and informative tours last approximately 50 minutes. Suggested donation of $3 per person or $5 for a family.

School Tours
A visit to the Solar Living Center gives students the unique experience of engaging with exhibits that examine a range of ideas about renewable energy and sustainable living. Tours are available by arrangement for students in grades K-12.  School groups are required to provide one adult chaperone for every five children through grade 6 and one adult for every 10 students thereafter. Cost is $3 per student and $5 per chaperone with a $25 minimum. Click here for more details and to schedule a field trip, as well as information about unscheduled school tours.

Professional Tours
Specialty tours, led by senior staff or technical instructors, are available for professional associations, special interest groups and college level classes. These tours, which last approximately one and a half hours, provide a stimulating technical exploration of renewable energy and sustainable living. Professional tours are available Monday through Friday by appointment with a 2 week advance notice. Cost is $10 per person with a $125 minimum.
